USF Ultimate Tailgating

We were invited to Kick Off the Ultimate Tailgate Experience with 1010 sports radio's Happy Hour with JP at the USF game at Raymond James Stadium. JP and 1010 sports radio had The Mobile Cigar Lounge catering to their VIPs and headlining bands. There was great music, cigars and of course an incredible game. Mobile Cigar Lounge Co. Featured on LUXE TV

We were thrilled to be contacted by the France based LUXE TV to be a featured on an upcoming special dedicated to the LUXE lifestyle in Florida. We hosted a 'Cigar Brunch' for the shooting and had our master cigar roller on hand for the occasion. I will be sure to post when the segment is close to air date.

Father's Day with Frank Vincent

The Nicest Mobster you'll Ever Meet!

The Mobile Cigar Lounge was invited to spend father's day with accomplished actor Frank Vincent and his family. Well known for his years of portraying classic Mafia characters including 'Phil' from Soprano's he is very charming and a far stretch from the characters he's famous for.

I'm sure your curious to know what cigar Frank enjoyed in The Lounge, well his own of course! The Frank Vincent Signature Cigar that he blended himself and are available from JR cigars. Having smoked cigars for a better part of his life he is an expert and has even wrote about the art in his book A Guy's Guide to Being a Man's Man.

Now as others are always asking Frank about this movie and that character, I wanted to know a little about Frank. He started off with a passion for music. He became an accomplished drummer early on and got a 'lucky break' with acting. Some luck....40 years later and still getting lucky!! Besides asking how he would like his cigar cut (only a clean straight cut for Frank) I asked what advice he has for success, "Follow your passion, never give up and everything will follow." Great advice from a great man.

Sex & the City Needed the Mobile Cigar Lounge!

I finally saw the Sex and the City movie. For any of you that saw it you will remember a scene where the main characters are celebrating on the eve of Carrie's and Big's wedding. The Buddakan Restaurant, one of New York's best, uber-hip, trendy hot spots was the venue for this scene in the film. The actors are draped in Louis Vuitton, Prada, Chanel, Manolo Blahniks, enjoying the smooth buttery draw of fine cigars and yet they are standing on the sidewalk next to the restaurant's front door looking rather uncomfortable. If only they had the pleasure of enjoying the Mobile Cigar Lounge! Even a film like Sex and the City points out the need for a cigar smoking solution! I'm off to contact Hollywood!

Cigar City Magazine Smoker Event in Ybor City

Last night we were on hand for the Cigar City Magazine Smokers event at tre Amici @ The Bunker in Ybor City. What a great time with good food and great cigars enjoyed by all! The Mobile Cigar Lounge (MCL) also provided the fine services of our cigar roller who was crafting fantastic cigars he custom blended with 8 kinds of tobacco!

Arturo Fuente Jr. and Darlene the Cigar Girl of Tampa Sweethearts also stopped by for a visit before the event got under way. It was an honor to have them be our guests in the MCL. Considering my personal favorite cigar is a Fuente Hemingway Short Story, I was happy to talk 'shop' with Darlene!

Overall the MCL was a big hit! I really should start recording people's reactions when they enter the Lounge for the first time, it's like love at at first sight! Here's some reactions from last nights event...

talked about Classic Airstreams, Oscar from Cigar Snob magazine was taking great pictures, enjoying a stogie and the atmosphere, Daryl and Dianne owners of Perfect Match Custom Tailors are always a pleasure, Heinz who's new to Tampa and doesn't smoke cigars couldn't get enough of 'lounging' in The Lounge! Everyone else who visited Thank You and look forward to asking again...'Straight, V or Punch Sir'!!
